Pink Pest Services provide a full range of pest control and termite services for both residential and commercial customers
Many homeowners opt for our general pest control treatment, which tackles the main pests around the home including cockroaches, spiders (funnel web, redback and white tailed spiders) and silverfish.
This is a comprehensive treatment that includes treating the exterior of buildings, internal areas where appropriate, the roof void and sub-floor (for homes that have them).
This is not a quick “pay and spray”, we take time to check areas before we treat and will often use a combination of different products, targeted at the pest problems we find, to get the best results.
This is why we can offer a 12 month warranty on our general pest treatments to houses.
Although our general pest control treatments do a great job at keeping pests at bay, sometimes homeowners have a major infestation or specific pest problem that requires a specialist pest control treatment.
Pink Pest Control provide specific pest treatments, utilising specialised products for the following pests:
Most importantly we try to determine the cause of the infestation, to prevent a re-occurrence – successful pest management is as much about prevention as cure!
Specialised pest control treatments come with different warranty / free service periods and depend on the pest, nature and scale of the problem and any specific issues we may find on the property.
Many of our customers combine their pest control service with their annual termite inspection, at a significant discount (to the separate services). It’s a great feeling to know your family is protected from pests and your house gets a termite “health check” at the same time.
Pink Pest Control are the Sydney termite specialists and provide a complete range of termite inspection and treatment services.
Termite inspections: Pink Pest Services provide comprehensive termite inspections to Australian standards using the latest termite detection equipment. Governments and building authorities recommend termite inspections at least once a year. When your home insurance does not cover termite damage, your annual termite inspection is the first step in protection your most valuable asset – your home!
Termite treatments: Pink Pest Services provide a 100% elimination guarantee on termite treatments. As well as eliminating active termites from your building it is important to install a termite management system to provide lasting protection for your property. This may be a liquid termite treatment to the soil or the installation of a termite monitoring and baiting system. For any complete termite system installed, TimberSecure termite insurance may be available.

Pink Pest Services also include an inspections division, Pink Inspections, which provide building, pest and strata inspections. Before you buy your next property, make sure you have all the facts to make a sound financial decision – get your pre-purchase building, pest and strata inspections completed by Pink Pest Control.
As well as providing residential pest control, Pink Pest Control can provide one-off or regular pest services for businesses (including hotels, offices, restaurants and food establishments).
We will design a program suitable for your business and provide you with the necessary documentation and process required to meet the internal and/or external regulatory requirements for your type of business.
Especially for restaurants, food establishments and the hospitality industry, we can also provide training for staff – carrying out preventative measures and spotting any pest issues and recording information are vital to a successful pest management plan.
If you are leaving a rental property and require an end of lease pest control treatment, we specialise in this service. Typically these treatments involve a general pest spray or a flea treatment (if you have had a pet in the property).
We know moving house can be stressful, so we can arrive at a time to suit.. By carrying out the treatment once you have moved out and the property is clear of furniture, we can provide a thorough treatment in a quick time, keeping the costs down for you.
When you type in “Pest Control Sydney” or something similar you will get a variety of companies come up in search results. With so many pest control companies out there all charging different prices, it is difficult to know which pest control company and what pest treatment to choose.
The pest technician needs to be licensed and the business should be insured to carry out the pest control treatment being requested. They are required to provide you with their license and insurance on request. There are a lot of “cowboys” bringing down the reputation of the industry (often charging the cheapest prices), who are not licensed or insured, so be careful!
When you are protecting your home and family and insecticides are being applied, it’s important that you trust that the pest manager is knowledgeable, professional and will take their time to apply a comprehensive and safe pest control treatment.
Always ask for a quote and clarify exactly what their service involves, how long it will take (see “What to expect with a pest control treatment”) and what warranties or service free periods are provided. Of course, ask them to confirm they are licensed and insured. It should allow you to compare quotes and ensure you are getting the service you require and one that’s good value for money!
Don’t forget the importance of an annual termite inspection. By combining the termite inspection with general pest treatment, you will normally get a significant discount on the separate services.
Before starting the treatment, the pest technician should inspect the property (to confirm the nature of the pest problem and work out what pest treatment is required), discuss any issues with you, explain the treatment and carry out a risk assessment. This involves assessing the property and surrounding properties for any safety or environmental issues that need to be considered before applying a product.
The duration of a pest control treatment will vary depending on the size of the property, construction type and level of pest infestation. For example a home with a sub-floor will take longer than a home on a concrete slab. But as a guide, for the typically modern 3/4 bedroom home on a concrete slab, a general pest treatment should take around an hour. If it is taking them less than 30 minutes you should be worried.
Typically the treatment will involve spraying the perimeter of the property, all surfaces, around doors, and other entry points plus out-buildings, BBQ areas, children’s play sets, etc. This treatment is targeting crawling insects such as large cockroaches as well as spiders.
A quality pest technician would treat inside the house as needed and choose the correct products and if the property has a particular problem with specific insects, additional products such as gel baits, sticky boards, dusts and granules may be applied to the affected areas.
The roof void is a key area to inspect and treat. Typically pest technicians will blow an insecticide powder through the roof void to provide a fine layer over all the surfaces. This can be very effective at keeping pest numbers down.
If the house has a sub-floor, this area should be inspected and then treated with a spray and / or powder, as required.
Depending on your requirements, treatment of the garage, sheds & fences may also be included in the service.
Most pest control treatments will come with a warranty period, normally 6 or 12 months. To maintain the warranty, the homeowner needs to have met any conditions specified by the pest technician at the time of the treatment. If a pest issue covered by the warranty arises during the warranty period, the normal procedure is for the technician to come back and provide a supplementary pest control treatment to solve the issue (free of charge).
Some pest control companies may also include a “rodent treatment” as part of their service. Such rodent treatments only normally deal with low level / background rodent issues, dealing with a rodent problem will be a more involved exercise with additional charges.
It is important to note that, although the pest technician is “inspecting” your home, they are not specifically looking for termites and it is not a formal termite inspection. You should be very cautious about accepting a free “termite check” as this is not the same as a comprehensive professional termite inspection (which you should have a least once a year).
After the treatment the pest technician should provide you with a service report, which should clearly spell out what pests have been treated and detail of any warranty.
Before we start any pest treatment we carry out an inspection and risk assessment, to determine whether there are any safety issues and discuss whether you have any particular concerns.
We only use products that are safe to use around the home. However, we like to be over cautious and we require that children under 4 years and pregnant women be absent from the property during treatment and for 2 hours after. Although, as our products have little or no odour, once we’ve left you probably won’t know we have been!
“Very happy with the service, have used repeatedly and would recommend for anyone. Staff very helpful.”
Pink eradicated my termite problem in the past with minimal impact to my home. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my new home.
Rik and Daniel were very knowledgeable. The service was provided one day after the quote. Pink technicians were very friendly and professional.
